Before I try to answer let’s check the following image. This image is truly wonderful and you don’t get to see such an image quite often. It supposedly speaks a lot of things. Though a lot of explanation has been given by the Godi media. I am quoting verbatim a report published by Factly on 11th December 2023. Following is the headline published by Factly.

Factly tried its level best to cover up the incident. But a simple look at the picture tells everything. Once you are through with the Factly report trying to debunk what can be clearly seen in the picture, I would debunk the explanation given by Factly.
Claim: PM Narendra Modi disregarded the greetings from President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at an event.
Fact: The incident in question occurred on 06 December 2023, when PM Modi and other leaders gathered at the New Parliament House in New Delhi to pay tribute on the death anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The full video reveals that the President, Vice President, and Lok Sabha Speaker were posing for a media photo. PM Modi was the first to exit, offering a ‘namaste’ gesture to the media personnel, followed by the other leaders. Hence, the claim made in the post is MISLEADING.
My take is that please look at the picture intently and then tell yourself whether you agree with the explanation of Factly. Even if you want to go with the Factly explanation, I have an objection and reservations. Factly has made a child-like mistake in telling a white lie. Possibly the media house doesn’t have any idea about the VVIP protocol. The laid down protocol says that in any formal function, the PM can not leave any function before the President and the Vice President. Secondly, do you see any dignity on the face of the trio standing with folded arms? And where they were looking as well as where PM Modi was looking?
Otherwise also if PM Modi has broken the protocol then it is blatant disregard to the President & the Vice President. And the picture apparently doesn’t send a great message to us viewers. We understand that if you leave aside their position as individuals none of them deserve any great respect from PM Modi. So it is bound to happen at some point in time because you can not be on guard all the time. Truth comes out.
Now coming back to your question - Do you feel leaders like Smriti Irani and Rajnath Singh are sidelined in BJP? I hope you all have already sensed my answer. The importance of any person or leader depends on their utility and their redundancy means replacibility. Are they indispensable for Modi Ji? Recently three former CMs of MP, Rajasthan, and CG were not considered for the CM’s chair in 2023. They may be accommodated in some other profile. But for the time being they are redundant for their respective states. Now you assess the importance of Smriti Irani and Rajnath Singh in the current scheme of things for BJP or Modi. Do you find them indispensable for Modi or BJP? Can the BJP win elections without them? Will there be any revolt in the party if they are not made minister in the next session? You find the answer yourself, I am avoiding giving a straight answer. You can write your answer in the comment section.
